Hey everyone! I know this is about 5 months late but I did eventually return home in July for my 22nd birthday. My family threw me a welcome home party and everyone loved the souvenirs I brought for them. I miss China and I miss all the friends I had made, now I feel like everything I do is just to get me back there where I was able to learn so much and see so many new things.
For all the people who might consider traveling to China or studying there like I did, I highly recommend it. You won’t find a better a place to get lost in.

My best friend is coming to China to visit me! (And help me figure out how I packed everything into a suitcase and a duffle bag) I plan to ride the metro to Pudong Airport and pick her up at 10:30am tomorrow. I know that right now she is somewhere over the Pacific ocean. Can’t wait to see her! Get ready for it China!

Our first night in Beijing we saw the entrance of The Forbidden City, but did not go in because, surprisingly, it was forbidden. Then we wandered around until we found the popular shopping street, lots of lights, lots of people, so we decided to ask like proper tourists and take ridiculous pictures.
